Some facts about your call.

The knowledge of who you are in Christ would mould your destiny and propel you onto greater works ahead. With salvation comes a call. You are saved and called with a holy calling (2 Tim 1:9).

It is important to know that your call:
– Is not according to your works
– Is according to His own purpose and grace.

The grace to fulfil your call was given to you when you accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour. This leaves you with no excuse for not fulfilling the call. This has been God’s pattern from the beginning of creation. He did not leave Adam to tend the garden alone, He was there with him. He even provided Him with a help mate.

In Exodus 4, Moses gave excuses about why he felt he could not fulfil his call to take Israel out of Egypt. For every excuse he gave, God had already provided a solution. He asked for God’s presence because he knew his strength would fail him. God gave the promise of His presence and peace. (Exodus 33:13-14). When you feel incapable you experience the ability of God. Grace kicks in when your ability fails.

What excuse is preventing you from fulfilling your call to serve?

No matter the magnitude of the excuse it is not big enough to stop you but you can give it power by allowing it to stop you. Take a bold step of faith and tap into His ability that has already been provided.

Ephesians 2:10 says ‘For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them’.

Before conversion our lives had no rhyme or reason. Conversion brought us balance, symmetry and order. We are God’s poem, His work of art. We are His pride.
Imagine you are an artist exhibiting your finished work of art. You had spent time to make the work what it is and with pride you display it with the hope that it would achieve its purpose. I believe this is how God views you as His workmanship. He makes good works a living possibility and expects you to walk in them.

Other facts to note are that:
-Your call is the good work you have been created to fulfil.
-Your call is unique and different from any other.
-You have the assignment to discover your call.
-Your call is not less than any other.
-Your call is urgent and should not be procrastinated.

I will stop here because I’ll like you to add facts from your experience of answering God’s call to encourage others.
