The knowledge of who you are in Christ would mould your destiny and propel you onto greater works ahead. With salvation comes a call. You are saved and called with a holy calling (2 Tim 1:9).
It is important to know that your call:
– Is not according to your works
– Is according to His own purpose and grace.
The grace to fulfil your call was given to you when you accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour. This leaves you with no excuse for not fulfilling the call. This has been God’s pattern from the beginning of creation. He did not leave Adam to tend the garden alone, He was there with him. He even provided Him with a help mate.
In Exodus 4, Moses gave excuses about why he felt he could not fulfil his call to take Israel out of Egypt. For every excuse he gave, God had already provided a solution. He asked for God’s presence because he knew his strength would fail him. God gave the promise of His presence and peace. (Exodus 33:13-14). When you feel incapable you experience the ability of God. Grace kicks in when your ability fails.
What excuse is preventing you from fulfilling your call to serve?
No matter the magnitude of the excuse it is not big enough to stop you but you can give it power by allowing it to stop you. Take a bold step of faith and tap into His ability that has already been provided.
Ephesians 2:10 says ‘For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them’.
Before conversion our lives had no rhyme or reason. Conversion brought us balance, symmetry and order. We are God’s poem, His work of art. We are His pride.
Imagine you are an artist exhibiting your finished work of art. You had spent time to make the work what it is and with pride you display it with the hope that it would achieve its purpose. I believe this is how God views you as His workmanship. He makes good works a living possibility and expects you to walk in them.
Other facts to note are that:
-Your call is the good work you have been created to fulfil.
-Your call is unique and different from any other.
-You have the assignment to discover your call.
-Your call is not less than any other.
-Your call is urgent and should not be procrastinated.
I will stop here because I’ll like you to add facts from your experience of answering God’s call to encourage others.

Excellent piece. God does not call the qualified but He qualifies the called. I stand as a living testimony to the goodness of God in calling me and giving me an assignment to reach the lost.
I’ve discovered that the place of qualification comes after obedience to God and submission to the will of God and discovery of ones purpose.
Praise God!

Thanks for this message! Great Article! God does not call and leave us alone.. No one can be like you, there are no 2 you. You are unique and your call is specific to you and the grace has been made available to fulfil that call. You are a king or queen in your domain (or call) when you abide in it. May God give us all the grace to dwell in His presence and fulfil destiny. Thanks Pst Fola! Great work WOG!
Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:20-21 NKJV)
I have been meditating on and personalising this scripture lately and have been getting people around me to do the same. You are very right, we all have different and unique callings to do good work according to God’s will. Some callings are very obvious, some not so obvious and you have to dig in to find it. Some know theirs but don’t feel bold enough to follow through with it because they feel they are either not qualified or articulate enough or whatever their reasons may be. It is God however that enables and empowers us as soon as we are obedient and step out in faith. May God help us all to recognise, walk in and fulfill our divine calling and purpose. Thanks very much. May God continue to anoint you for greater works. I trust that everyone who reads this will be blessed by it.
Sade, a good masterpiece.
God bless your wisdom the more

Pro. 18:16 – And I can only fulfil it in my calling.
I am equipped to fulfil my calling.
Though challenges of stepping out fully into it still holding me back, surely I can not hide away from it.
It is my course in life. More prayers please Beloved.
